We could not ask for nicer weather, clear skies and sunny as we rode through Temascal Canyon into Tom's Farm. While there we went into the Country Store, Bakery and had some great Burgers for lunch! Live music was playing, water turtles were sunbathing because did I mention the weather was great! After doing a little shopping we all headed back together. Juanita led the ride with a distance of 150 miles and perfect weather. Lake Mathews never looked so good!
Yeap! Sunday Rides Rock! Our scheduled ride to Janet's Montana Cafe in Alpine, CA was great! Heather led the ride with a distance of 277 miles and time 5 hours 45 minutes. Lots of laughs and good times! A second ride to high desert was available for those that were on a time crunch. All and all HOG members rode this weekend! It's always fun when you ride and share a meal with fellow riders!

We decided to start this year with a Party! After our January monthly meeting, Mike Blasic led us from the Palm Springs dealership to his home in La Quinta where we celebrated our New Year! JoAnna Miller hosted a fabulous Italian luncheon. We enjoyed great food, great games and of course the company was priceless! Thank you both for opening your home to Palm Springs HOG! It will definitely go down on the books!
As tradition has it, our 1st Ride of the Year is our Polar Bear Ride! We started at the dealership and rode East on I-10 and entered through the south entrance of Joshua Tree National Park. We stopped at the Ranger Station then rode to Keys View where we stopped to take our annual picture and enjoy breathtaking views. After riding through the park, we exited out the front gate and stopped for lunch. Great Day!
Following our chapter meeting several members went on the ride to Pioneertown Loop ride. A good day, weather was cooperating, slightly cooler in the slight elevation, but a fun time for all. Thank you to Bob Fidalgo for leading the ride and for all participants in the ride. See you soon!
PSHOG and our host Regional Manager Chris, attended this event Saturday January 28th with over 200 fellow HOG members in attendance right here in Cathedral City. The event was informative and productive. We are enthused as we go forward, so many of the best practices discussed we are doing or have plans to implement. We encourage your participation, enthusiasm and our opportunity to serve you. Remember, our mission is to Ride and Have Fun!
Palm Springs HOG chapter with our first chapter ride after our meeting. The day was nice, the ride to Salvation Mountain and to Johnson's Landing was enjoyable despite a small hiccup. We look forward to seeing you all soon! Thanks for ride everyone and our lead Heather. Reminder to enroll the HD Ride 365 program and submit your picture for your button.
